What’s it like to be an Actuary?

We highly recommend reviewing https://www.beanactuary.org/what-is-an-actuary/. It is an excellent website for students exploring whether the profession is right for them. This website also has more detailed information about the actuary exams which students should begin taking while in their undergraduate career to be competitive for actuary internships and jobs.

Tech Training Resources

UWM enrolled students have free access to LinkedIn Learning courses. We recommend classes in Excel, R, SQL, SAS, and Tableau. These technology classes are wonderful additions to a resume.
