Harris scored on a 15-yard pass from quarterback Alex Smith in what turned out to be the winning score in the 23-17 victory. The Chiefs finished the season 11-5.

A native of Jacksonville, Arkansas, Harris played two seasons for the Panthers as a 6-foot-7, 230-pound power forward, and led the team in rebounding in his senior year in 2012-’13. He tried out for more than 10 teams before landing a job with the Chiefs.
