Heath Powell

Hi, I'm Heath, Deputy Director for the Department of University Recreation. One of the reasons UWM is such a great place to work is that I have never viewed my role in University Recreation as simply a job. I genuinely enjoy the daily interactions with our students and the unique opportunities and challenges they bring. My goal is to help create an exceptional student experience, and there is nothing more rewarding than knowing I have played a part in making a student's time at UWM meaningful, memorable, and successful. Seeing students grow, connect, and thrive through our programs and facilities brings me a tremendous sense of pride and fulfillment.
