Welcome to UREC Fest’s webpage. Home of all the information you need before you attend this year’s event. Here you will find our schedule of events, list of sponsors, items to bring, and more.
What to Expect
UREC Fest is meant to show new students why UREC is For Everyone. You will gain insight into UREC programs offered to students like Intramural Sports, Sport Clubs, Outdoor Pursuits, Fitness, and Aquatics. Some UREC Fest activities include crate stacking, an intramural tournament, yard games, and more.
Coming to the K
- Bring your student ID to the Klotsche Center to get in through the turnstiles, we can’t let you in if you forget your card!
- Head up to the second floor and go to the arena to the right at the top of the stairs.
- Grab a passport and swipe your student ID again to gain access to the arena. Your passport is what you need to fill out to earn your free t-shirt, pizza, and cookie!
How to fill out your passport
Visit the following sections, talk to tables, or do an activity to get a sticker for your passport. Get the four inside color stickers to get the free pizza and cookie. Collect the final gold sticker to earn your UREC Fest t-shirt!
- (RED): Sport Clubs and Intramurals
- (BLUE): Fitness and aquatics
- (GREEN): Outdoor Pursuits
- (BLACK): Partner tables
- (GOLD): Attendance survey
Things to do
What to Bring
To get the most out of the UREC Fest experience, remember to bring these things along when you come to the K:
- Your Panther ID to get into the building and check-in.
- A water bottle.
- A swimsuit if you plan on going into the pool area.
- Gym clothes if you want to get active!
- Clothes and shoes to move in if you desire.
