The orientation and transition process covers:
- Commuting and on-campus housing arrangements
- Course enrollment
- Financial aid, scholarships and student employment opportunities
- ID Photo and PantherCard
- Student life and support resources
- UWM technology: multi-factor authentication, PAWS, email, Office 365, Navigate, Canvas, etc.
You will complete training on:
- Alcohol and cannabis
- Title IX, victim advocacy and sexual assault prevention
- Health and safety
- Freedom of speech
- Federal Education Privacy Rights Act (FERPA)
- Universities of Wisconsin, the State of Wisconsin and Federal Compliance
