About me

I just moved to Wisconsin this year to be closer to family, am 34 years old and currently in a new phase of life. I am taking a break from my previous career path to explore new opportunities and passions. I’m attending Milwaukee Area Technical College for Baking and Pastry Arts as a step towards owning my own small business.  Concurrently I have two jobs that are veteran support centric, and I love them! I served three years in the United States Air Force, received an honorable discharge, and am happy to be now serving my fellow veterans of all walks.

I have two dogs between the ages of 8 and 10, whom I love more than anything else. I literally would do anything I can to keep them safe and happy. They keep me grounded and steady. I come from a vast and diverse family and extended family. I have seven brothers, two sisters, and equally as many aunts and uncles. We have one grandmother who keeps the family together, and she’s in her 80s this year.

Working at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee was a role I didn’t know I needed. I’m making new friends, learning about so many amazing resources, and helping veterans succeed in life simultaneously. It’s very fulfilling, and I can’t wait to see where we grow and how we can help our fellow veterans even more thoroughly.
