Mini-Courses Saturday Academy Program is an intense, academic program for middle school students in the 6th, 7th and 8th grades that meets for six Saturdays. Saturday Academy is designed to enhance students’ academic skills, and knowledge in careers and college options. Each semester, a selection of classes are offered to reinforce skills in one or more of the following subject areas: math, reading, English, science, STEM, computers, foreign language, arts, and/or career-related classes. Curriculum reinforces basic skills and competencies through various hands-on activities, group projects, classroom instructions and/or presentations. Program is limited to 90 students each session. The fee for the program is $195 per session. Students who are eligible for free/reduced lunch can apply for a full DPI Pre-College Scholarship.

There is no grade point average requirement to be eligible for Saturday Academy. Students must be in grades 6-8.

To receive an application, please call the Mini-Courses office at 414-229-6236 or email email@example.com to be placed on our mailing list for the upcoming session. Otherwise, applications are available for download under the Brochures link during open registration. Please note: classes fill up quickly and reach full enrollment before the deadline date.
Policies and Fees
