These recommendations are meant to aid students in choosing a device for their coursework at UWM.

Depending on your intended major, your school or college may have specific technology guidelines that do not align with the ones outlined in our general recommendations. Talk to your advisor about possible technology recommendations for your specific course load.

Personal technology including desktops, laptops, and accessories can be purchased online or in-person at the UWM TechStore.
