About macOS updates at UWM

Apple typically releases new versions of macOS each year in September or October. IT staff require a few months of preparation before the newly released version can be used on UWM computers.

Updates to macOS are made available to install through Self Service for all eligible devices so you can upgrade at your convenience. If you have questions before you upgrade, please contact IT Support!

Coming Soon: macOS Big Sur

  • 2012 MacBook Air
  • 2012 and 2013 iMac
