Starting today, there is a simplified process for verifying your identity to recover your account if you forget your password. This update allows you to reset your password without calling the UWM Help Desk. Additionally, new UWM account holders will enter an alternate non-UWM email address when activating their account.

As part of this change, only one multifactor authentication (MFA) method is required for password recovery.
