Transition Programs – Washington County

Panther Academic Welcome

Panther Academic Welcome (PAW) is a required program for all incoming freshman. For Fall 2021, this requirement will be fulfilled by completing the PAW Canvas Course.

We are excited to offer optional in-person programming for Panther Academic Welcome which will take place on the Washington County campus on Tuesday, August 24th at 10:00am and includes:

  • Free lunch
  • ID pick-up
  • Swag
  • Class photo
  • Breakout sessions & activities
  • Academic advising
  • Campus tour

Sign up here!

The event will last about 4 hours. Check-in will begin at 9:30am at the campus main entrance. Please park in the lower lot. Parking permits are not required for this event. Please no family members or guests on this day. Panther Academic Welcome is a Student-Only event designed to acclimate you to being a student at UWM at Washington County.

Given the crowd size, we’d like to reiterate the UWM policy on face coverings: all participants are required to wear a mask, regardless of vaccination status.

*Students need only attend the event being held at their individual campus.

We hope to see you there! For questions, please reach out to
