UWM Transportation Services’ mission is to provide various transportation solutions that serve all modes of transportation within the UWM community while supporting the mission of education and research.  We coordinate and administer all transportation-related services on campus, serving a diverse range of needs and focusing on reducing overall parking demand. The goal is to offer multiple travel choices, enhance multi-modal connectivity, and shift emphasis away from single-occupancy vehicle use.

  • Hartford Ave. One-Way Traffic Project
    City begins work to convert E. Hartford Avenue to one-way through campus  The City of Milwaukee is starting work next week on E. Hartford Avenue in preparation for permanently converting the street to carry eastbound-only traffic through UWM’s campus, between N. Cramer Street and N. Downer Avenue.  Ahead of the conversion, work will begin on Monday, Aug. 17, to rebuild 11 pedestrian curb ramps along E.   • Construction detour to NWQ Garage starting Monday, 3/16
    Starting Monday, 3/16 as part of the NWQ Stormwater Management Project, the drive aisle from Hartford Ave. and Lot 34 will be closed for construction tentatively though June.
