Witness the solar eclipse on April 8

Don’t miss your chance to view the solar eclipse on Monday, April 8 — it will be the last one visible in the United States until 2044.

The solar eclipse will reach 90% totality in Milwaukee on April 8, with peak visibility at about 2 p.m. About 90% of the sun will be blocked as the moon passes between the sun and Earth, and the three align.

Or stop by the UWM Student Union Ballroom to watch a live stream of the total eclipse. Students, employees and members of the public are invited to stop and enjoy enjoy free food, music and activities.
