Washington Seminar application deadline is March 1

Students from all majors are invited to apply for the Washington Seminar, a three-week program May 30-June 17 to see public policy in action in Madison and Washington, D.C. Applications are due March 1.

Participants will have the opportunity to meet with state and national legislators, lobbyists, media representatives, executive branch appointees and nonprofit organization leaders. UW System faculty will lead the Washington Seminar, and students earn three transferrable credits through UWM at Waukesha.

Program cost of $3,185 includes airfare, housing, a Metro pass, Potomac cruise, visit to Mount Vernon and one meal per day. Scholarships are available for students with financial need.
