This fall, UWM’s Division of Community Empowerment and Institutional Inclusivity (formerly Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) invites all faculty and staff to the next installment of its book series: “The Moral Imagination: The Art and Soul of Building Peace.”
Written by international mediator John Paul Lederach, this book showcases the creativity and imagination needed to overcome violence and create social change.
The fall book discussions include four virtual Thursday sessions, from 9-10 a.m.: Sept. 26, Oct. 10, Oct. 24, and Nov. 14.
The discussions will be co-facilitated by Sarah MacDonald, a dispute resolution specialist in the Division of CEII, and Lynne Woehrle, associate professor in the School of Nursing and director of the Master of Sustainable Peacebuilding program.
Register at this webpage by Sept. 12. A Zoom link will be sent one week before the first session to those who have registered.
The book is available for free through UWM Libraries.
