Kimberly Blaeser, UWM professor of English and Wisconsin’s poet laureate, invites students and teachers to learn more about her writing process in a series of videos posted on Wisconsin Writes.

Hosted on the Department of Public Instruction website, Wisconsin Writes invites students and teachers to see how well known Wisconsin writers do their work.
In these videos, Blaeser shares her background in writing, why she uses different types of technology to write, and how images are an important part of her writing process. Students and teachers can follow her as she works on revising two of her poems, including a picto-poem, a form that blends images with poetry.
The videos also feature an interview in which Blaeser explains how she finds time to write and offers students advice on their own writing.
