The undergraduate nursing program at UWM again placed high among the top programs in the country in the 2025 Best Colleges rankings by U.S. News & World Report.
UWM’s bachelor’s in nursing program landed at No. 74 among almost 700 programs considered nationwide.
Three other undergraduate programs at UWM – business, psychology and computer science – landed among the top 30% of universities nationwide. A fourth, economics, ranked among the top 40%.
And UWM improved overall, climbing 17 spots in the rankings of national universities.
This is the 40th year that U.S. News has published its rankings. The rankings are intended to provide prospective students and their families a look at the comparative merits of the undergraduate programs across the country.
The rankings consider 17 key measures, including graduation rates, graduate indebtedness and post-graduate earnings.
