UWM has been ranked among the top 2.6% of academic institutions worldwide by the Center for World University Rankings.
UWM moved up 66 spots from last year’s ranking to land at 506 this year among 20,000 universities. UWM ranked 142nd among universities in the United States.
The ranking considers four factors: quality of education, alumni employment, quality of faculty and research performance. The rankings do not rely on survey or data submissions from universities.
Center for World University Rankings, unlike many others, places an equal emphasis on research and the university’s learning environment.
