UWM ranked among best online bachelor’s programs

U.S. News & World Report has ranked UWM’s online bachelor’s program 48th out of 353 schools in the United States. UWM also achieved the ranking of 31st best online bachelor’s program for veterans.

UWM’s ranking was tied with UW-Whitewater as the top-ranked universities in the UW System.

U.S. News & World Report evaluates schools each year on the effectiveness and affordability of their online degrees for adults looking to further their education. Rankings are largely based on the quality of engagement between instructor and student, the diversity of technologies and services available to online students and the credentials of the program’s faculty.

UWM has offered online bachelor’s programs for more than 20 years to allow for students to build their education into their lifestyle.

It also offers more than 40 fully online degrees and certificates, including programs in nursing, information science and technology, diagnostic imaging and health sciences. It currently educates more online students in Wisconsin than any other university.
