Prospective students will save the $50 application fee if they apply to UWM between Dec. 14 and 22. The university will waive the fee during its first free application week.
“This is a great opportunity for students who have been meaning to apply, but haven’t done it yet, to save some money,” said Patrick Fay, director of admissions. “We know that the college application process can be stressful, and we want to make it as easy as we can for prospective students and their families to consider UWM.”
The fee waiver is good for new applicants for the 2020 summer and fall terms.
Several other UW System campuses have offered free application weeks this year.
Here’s how prospective undergraduates can obtain the $50 application fee waiver:
- Register and complete the UW System application.
- Complete all the steps through “Sign and Submit Your Application.” Once prospective students have done this, they’ve applied to UWM.
- The usual next step is to “Submit Payment.” Applicants can skip this step if they apply between 12:01 a.m. Dec. 14 and 11:59 p.m. Dec. 22.
Applicants who have questions about the application process or fee waiver should contact the undergraduate admissions office at 414-229-2222 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
