UWM’s annual Design Open & Innovators Expo will be Friday, May 10, from 11:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. in the Lubar Entrepreneurship Center. The expo will showcase a collection of UWM community prototypes, ideas, startups, student organizations, partners, classes and innovations in an exhibit format.
As part of the Innovators Expo this year, the LEC is introducing a Design Open portion where presenters will deliver 45-minute mini-workshops on a variety of topics such as health design, team collaboration and others. This year’s expo also includes a roundtable discussion on the theme of “radical collaboration.”
Here’s the schedule for the day:
- 11:30 a.m.: Event begins
- Noon: Kickoff of the day
- Noon-1 p.m.: Lunch ‘N Learn Plenary
- 1:15-2:15 p.m.: Design Open (concurrent 45-minute workshops in the LEC)
- 2:30-3:15 p.m.: Roundtable Discussion: “Radical Collaboration”
- 3:15-3:30 p.m.: Innovators Expo Kickoff
- 3:30-5:30 p.m.: Expo Tabling & Poster Session (refreshments provided)
