UW System President Jay Rothman will join three chancellors Monday, Aug. 15, at a news conference announcing a new initiative to make college education more affordable.

The news conference will begin at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 15, at the Lubar Entrepreneurship Center, 2100 E. Kenwood Blvd., on UW-Milwaukee’s main campus.

The news conference will include:

• UW System President Jay Rothman
• UWM Chancellor Mark Mone
• UW-Whitewater Interim Chancellor John Chenoweth
• UW-Parkside Chancellor Deborah Ford

Six parking spots for news media have been reserved in the lot behind the Helene Zelazo Center for the Performing Arts, 2419 E. Kenwood Blvd. Email media-services-team@uwm.edu to get a parking code.

Please note: Some sidewalks and areas of campus may be closed because of construction taking place at the Student Union and the area immediately west of the Lubar Entrepreneurship Center, where a new chemistry building is being built.
