Starting Monday, Aug. 21, enrolled UWM students can activate their student bus pass — called UPASS — through the UMO Mobile app. The blue M-Cards are no longer accepted on Milwaukee County Transit System buses.
All students enrolled in Fall 2023 classes and paying segregated fees have been assigned a benefit code, which they can redeem now. Students can then activate the code by using their UWM email address. Find out how to redeem the benefit code on UWM’s Transportation Services website.
Students who don’t have access or find it difficult to operate a smartphone can receive a physical card.
Please keep your student ID with you at all times when riding the bus. Drivers may ask you to show your student ID to verify your identity while using your UPASS.
