Student caregivers sought for UWM survey

Are you a student and a parent? Do you take care of a child or an adult, such as a grandparent or parent, or both?

We are encouraging UWM students who have any caregiving role to participate in a survey on their experiences as a student caregiver. The survey takes less than 10 minutes to complete. Find the survey at this webpage.

The survey study will help researchers and administrators better understand the challenges, supports and experiences of student caregivers at UWM. The findings will provide UWM with an understanding of the caregiving population on campus and how to create a more inclusive environment.

Any information you share is anonymous; your name and other identifying information will not be collected. Participation is voluntary, but greatly appreciated.

Rachel Kubczak of the Student Parent Success Program and Melinda Kavanaugh, a professor in the Helen Bader School of Social Welfare, are leading the survey at UWM. For any questions, contact Rachel Kubczak at vanderw7@uwm.edu or 414-251-5955.
