School supply donations accepted through Sept. 21 for LaFollette School

The UWM African American Faculty and Staff Council is taking donations of school supplies through Sept. 21 for LaFollette School on N. 9th street. The MPS school is about two miles west of UWM.

Many of the items needed are basic school supplies such as:

  • writing utensils: pencils, markers, crayons, colored pencils, dry erase markers
  • craft supplies: glue/glue sticks, construction paper, scissors (child, blunt edge)
  • dry erase erasers, notebooks, loose leaf paper, pink erasers (individual)

All items for the school supply drive can be dropped off at Kathy Berry’s office in Enderis 253 or Brenda Cullin’s office in Bolton 802. To donate cash to the school supply drive, email Berry at klb@uwm.edu. For more information, email Berry or Cullin at brenlee@uwm.edu.

The school supplies will be delivered to LaFollette School on Sept. 28 by UWM police officers.
