UWM will continue its longstanding tradition of recognizing UWM’s employees and their years of dedication to the university at the Length of Service ceremony. The upcoming ceremony will have a slightly different twist.
In February 2023, UWM will hold a combined Length of Service Ceremony to honor those employees who reached work milestones in 2022 as well as those awardees for 2023.
Like many campus traditions, COVID-19 disrupted our traditional spring Length of Service ceremony. Recent ceremonies have been held virtually and in a hybrid fashion.
UWM will be honoring awardees with a full, in-person ceremony.
Save the date for Feb. 14 at 2:30 p.m. in the UWM Student Union’s Wisconsin Room.
Feel free to share this save-the-date information with family and colleagues so they can be there for the celebration and support. Length of Service recipients for 2022 and 2023 will receive an invitation, by email, from Chancellor Mark Mone.
