Join members of the C21 Reproductive Justice Collaboratory on April 16 from 1:30-5 p.m. as we connect writing with reproductive freedoms.
Learn more about the history of reproductive justice; how it impacts students today; and explore how writing can be a tool to process reproductive experiences and act against reproductive injustices.
This will be a generative session for undergraduates to consider how reproductive justice and creative practices (like writing) can aid in efforts to heal individual traumas and become a means of advocacy and political awareness.
Two 75-minute workshops will be offered on April 16 in Case Commons in the UWM Student Union. Drop in and join either session:
- Session 1: 1:30-2:45 p.m.
- Session 2: 3:30-4:45 p.m.
Both events are sponsored by the UWM Women’s Resource Center and the UWM LGBTQ+ Center.
