The UWM Student Health and Wellness Center (SHAW) now has the contraceptive Opill available for purchase. This is the first daily oral contraceptive pill available over the counter, sold for $20 per pack (a four-week supply).
SHAW will continue to have other contraceptive pills available by prescription, and the center encourages students to make an appointment with a provider to discuss their options.
