The 2016 Milwaukee Film Festival, running from Sept. 22 to Oct. 6, includes a strong University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee presence.
In particular, the festival’s Cream City Cinema program, which features films with Milwaukee ties, includes 33 participants with ties to UWM, making up more than half the program’s entries.
