Thousands of people helped celebrate the university’s 60th anniversary Sunday, Aug. 7, during UWM Day at the Wisconsin State Fair.
UWM schools, colleges and offices set up booths in the Central Park area of the fair with games, experiments and giveaways. On stage, visitors could see a Science Bag presentation, cooking demonstration and, of course, the “Roar Like a Panther” contest.
