Several programs at UW-Milwaukee performed well in the latest rankings from U.S. News & World Report of undergraduate programs in the United States.
UWM’s nursing program ranked among the top 15% nationally, placing at No. 94 among 671 programs considered.
UWM’s business and psychology programs ranked among the top quarter of programs in the country, while its computer science program ranked among the top 30%.
UWM’s overall ranking continued its steady climb in recent years, advancing 13 spots after moving up 34 spots over the previous two years.
The annual rankings consider 17 key measures, including graduation rates, graduate indebtedness and post-graduate earnings. More than 1,700 colleges and universities were evaluated.
The rankings, which U.S. News has calculated for four decades, are intended to provide prospective students and their families a look at the comparative merits of undergraduate programs across the country.
