The UW-Milwaukee baseball caps that everyone was clamoring for during UWM’s run in the NCAA Tournament last week are now available for purchase, for a limited time.
The black cap is the same one worn by the players. It features the outline of the state of Wisconsin with a capital “M” in the lower right corner where the city and university sits.
Once UWM shocked No. 4 Auburn in the first game of the NCAA Tournament, people nationwide began noticing UWM and those sweet, sweet hats. When UWM beat Central Florida in another upset – and after Milwaukee Brewers manager Pat Murphy wore one to a postgame news conference – demand grew even more.
And now here they are: available for purchase online via Burghardt Sporting Goods.
But don’t wait too long: Caps are available only through June 21, which is – hey, what do you know? – Father’s Day.
