The UWM Chancellor’s Advisory Committee for Mental Health invites you to join us in supporting the UWM Food Center & Pantry through our November 2025 campus-wide Food & Personal Care Drive.
We know many UWM students face food insecurity, and your contributions can make a real difference. Together, we can strengthen our campus community one donation at a time.
Below, you will find information about the Food & Personal Care Drive, as well as other ways you can support the UWM Food Pantry.
Food & Personal Care Drive
Drop off nonperishable, shelf-stable foods or personal care products by Nov. 24 in a donation bins located at:
- Student Union, near Centers for Advocacy & Student Engagement, ground/street level
- Kenwood Interdisciplinary Research Complex, Main Office, second floor
- Klotsche Center & Pavillion, atrium lobby
- Pearse/Garland Hall, first floor where buildings connect
- Mitchell Hall, near TRiO Student Support Services, first floor
Donations can also be dropped off at the Dean of Students Office, Student Union 345, Mondays through Fridays between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Other ways to donate
Make a tax-deductible donation to the UWM Foundation in support of the UWM Food Center & Pantry. Our partnership with Feeding America of Eastern Wisconsin, enables us to purchase $10 in food for each $1 donation.
Or, purchase items from the UWM Food Pantry Amazon Wish List and send it directly to: ATTN: Food Center & Pantry, 2200 E. Kenwood Blvd., Milwaukee, WI 53211.
High need items: non-perishable, shelf-stable and sealed foods such as canned soup, beans, fruits and vegetables; canned fish and poultry; rice, oats, pasta; breakfast cereal, shelf-stable milk, peanut butter, fruit jams, crackers, boxed meals; shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, toilet paper, tissues; socks.
