The President’s and Chancellor’s Challenge is now accepting proposals for community-engaged research projects addressing poverty in Milwaukee.
The challenge, which is a partnership between Marquette University, Medical College of Wisconsin and UWM, joins university resources with community expertise to examine critical issues and opportunities facing Milwaukee.
Funding supports both faculty and community partners to work in collaboration for 18 months. Project submissions should address poverty in Milwaukee. Proposals are due by 5 p.m. on May 23. Find more details at this webpage.
Questions can be directed to Vice Chancellor Chia Vang at vangcy@uwm.edu.
