All UWM employees are invited to join UWM Marketing, Communications & University Relations staff on Sept. 20 for Communications and Marketing Orientation Day — a series of sessions on marketing and communications resources and best practices.
The event includes short sessions from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will be in person at the Alumni Fireside Lounge in the UWM Student Union Fireside Lounge or via Teams. Light breakfast items and beverages will be provided.
Sessions will include info and tips on topics ranging from how to build effective emails and details on logos and branding to writing for the web and how to talk with media.
In addition, faculty and staff are encouraged to check out the branding and licensing table anytime during the event.
