Microsoft is rebranding its Office 365 product to Microsoft 365. This change is ongoing, and Microsoft has been working to update its materials to reflect the branding change.
To align with Microsoft’s naming conventions, UWM IT has been undergoing efforts to identify and update all UWM resources containing the Office 365 naming convention. Two common examples: Office 365 is now Microsoft 365; and O365 is now M365.
In addition, Microsoft has announced that it’s phasing out the Office 365 web address (https://portal.office.com) and instead redirecting to https://login.microsoftonline.com. Use this updated web address for your Microsoft 365 bookmark.
