UWM leaders are monitoring a winter storm warning from the National Weather Service.
Look for any further announcements from UWM via RAVE text, email and website bulletins. UWM will prioritize notifying the UWM community of any class cancellations as early as developing weather conditions allow, while also preserving class time to the greatest extent possible. Here’s when you can expect to hear more:
Class Start Time | Announcement Time |
8 a.m.–noon | Preferably before 6 a.m. |
Noon–4 p.m. | Before 10 a.m. |
4 p.m. or later | Before 2 p.m. |
- Find any urgent announcements or updates on the UWM home page.
- Check current weather information at uwm.edu/innovativeweather/.
- Active watches and warnings are posted by the National Weather Service.
- Sign up for RAVE text and email alerts and download the RAVE Guardian Safety app.
The safety of our students, faculty and staff is paramount. All are encouraged to take steps to ensure individual safety during extreme weather.
