Engineers Without Borders at UWM invites the campus community to help support the group’s work to build a water distribution system in Guatemala. The Benefit for Clean Water will be Thursday, Nov. 10, from 6-8:30 p.m. at Wantable Cafe, 123 E. Walker St., Milwaukee. Cost is $25.
The group will travel to a Guatemalan village, which currently requires that residents collect water manually. The UWM engineering students and mentor professionals volunteer their time to design and implement a dependable, potable water system. Money raised from the benefit will go directly toward the water system project.
