In recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, the LGBTQ+ Resource Center is hosting Teal Takeover — a sand installation project — from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 6. Groups of participants will be given kits of teal-colored sand to fill in the cracks of sidewalks around campus.
Participants will meet in the LGBTQ+ Resource Center in the Student Union to learn more about how sexual assault awareness affects LGBTQ+ communities before venturing across campus.
All UWM community members are encouraged to join, either as an individual or with a group. Participants can sign up using this form.
