L&S InFocus: “Weapons: Beyond the Blade” MPM exhibit
The Milwaukee Public Museum features Exhibition Work of Museum Studies and Anthropology Students
The Milwaukee Public Museum’s current temporary exhibition “Weapons: Beyond the Blade” is featured in the October 2017 Issue of L&S InFocus. The exhibition will be on display at the MPM through January 1, 2018 and was curated by MPM/UWM Museum Studies Graduate Program Coordinator and Instructor Dawn Scher Thomae (and MPM Curator of Anthropology Collections). Scher Thomae worked with nearly 30 current or former Anthropology and Museum Studies Graduate and Undergraduate Students who logged hundreds of internship and/or course project hours conducting research on MPM collections items featured in the exhibition as well as other aspects of exhibition development, fabrication, and program delivery.
