GIS Data Request

Please fill out this form to request data from our digital geospatial data collection or request help in finding data for your educational and research needs. Please be as detailed as possible so that we may best assist you.

All GIS Data and Aerial Photography are free of charge, however some products such as DVDs, scanned digital images, and printing are assessed a fee. If a fee is required, you will be notified and asked to provide payment before delivery.

Please be aware that some datasets may be restricted to UW-System users or may have copyright or use restrictions.

Please include preferred file formats. If data is not listed in our holdings, please include as much information as possible. If appropriate, please indicate the time period the data should cover. If you would like the most current version of the data, please indicate this in your request.
How would you like to receive this data?
Most requests can be delivered via SharePoint Link. Very large requests (high-resolution aerial photography or satellite imagery, LiDAR or Hyperspectral Data) will need to be picked up on a portable hard drive. Burning to DVDs is available for $3 each for UWM Affiliates or $6 for the public.
