Journalism, Advertising, & Media Studies

Explore. Express. Influence.

Preparing students to thrive as knowledgeable, ethical, and skilled professionals within dynamic media industries and connected fields is our mission in the Journalism, Advertising, and Media Studies (JAMS) program. The JAMS curriculum emphasizes thinking and communicating clearly, critically, and creatively, while developing applicable skills and technological proficiencies. We strive to foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages collaboration and diversity of thought, promotes hands-on experiences and values active engagement with the community. Our goal is to empower our students to become principled and effective communicators who are equipped to navigate the complexities of contemporary media terrains with integrity and excellence.
