Under the African Skies Event with Guest Speaker Susan Murabana

Become part of a celestial journey and immerse yourself in the wonders of the African Continent at the UWM Planetarium. Join us on February 23rd from 7 pm to 8 pm for an entertaining presentation by Astronomer Susan Murabana. Susan, the President of the African Planetarium Association, will unveil the captivating beauty of the Kenyan night skies in connection to her country and rich cultural heritage. She is the CEO/Co-founder of the Traveling Telescope which is dedicated to fostering social change through Astronomy education and engaging tools. Her portable telescope and mobile planetarium travel with her, creating memorable experiences for students and families. Don’t miss this delightful evening of cross-cultural discovery and celestial marvels.
