The Institute of World Affairs helps people make the connection between global issues and their daily lives. IWA’s diverse array of programs inform, prepare, support, and engage thousands of students, educators, and community members each year.
IWA has been able to offer these incredible programs and services in part through the generous support and giving of individuals, groups, organizations, and businesses. IWA’s network of supporters and donors has contributed to the Institute in a variety of ways, including donations for a global supply drive during the Ebola crisis, need-based scholarships for high school students to attend our GATE summer leadership program, travel grants for schools to attend K-12 programs, co-sponsorship of public and K-12 programs, in-kind or monetary donations, and collaboration on various initiatives for a strong collective impact on issues facing our local, regional, and global communities.
