HR Compliance Training

All UWM employees are required to complete sexual violence and sexual harassment training every three years, an annual IT security training, and a one-time Child Abuse and Neglect training. There are over 15,000 courses covering business, technology, and creative skills, including personalized recommendations. These Toolkits utilize resources from the national higher education community, as well as materials developed here at UWM. Workplace Bullying

Universities of Wisconsin is committed to fostering a welcoming and inclusive workplace that aligns with our institutional values to be fair and respectful to others. Workplace Bullying Policy Training will provide employees the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the Workplace Bullying Policy SYS 1294, define and identify workplace bullying behavior, and outline options for addressing workplace bullying incidents.

Secretary of the University

The Office of the Secretary of the University offers annual training sessions on UWM faculty tenure, promotion, and the post-tenure review process. Workshops about promotion to indefinite appointment for instructional academic staff are provided on an annual basis by the Instructional and Research Academic Staff Review Committee (IRASRC) and sponsored by the Office of the Secretary of the University.
