The professional development program is currently on hiatus.
If you would like to get a sense of the professional development opportunites that are typically offered, please see below for descriptions of last year’s professional development sessions.
UWM is proud to announce that it will provide professional development opportunities for all employees, including training specifically for supervisors, during the 2019-20 academic year.
All professional development sessions will be held on campus, in the Golda Meir Library’s 4th Floor Conference Center, except as noted below.
General Sessions for all Employees
Each of the sessions below has a capacity of 40 participants and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Participation in the sessions is on a voluntary basis, with supervisory approval.
Employees should discuss any training plans and dates with their supervisor to ensure there is adequate coverage. To the extent that it is possible and practical, supervisors are encouraged to allow their staff to participate in professional development opportunities.
