Named for the Pulitzer Prize winner Carl Sandburg who, in the early 1900s, lived six blocks west of what is now the UWM Kenwood campus, Sandburg Hall houses more than half of our residential students.
The North, South and West Towers are all options for first-year students, with East Tower open to returning & transfer students. A notable feature, the Panther Activities Lounge, located off the lobby, is the place to hang out between classes, meet friends for a social gathering, or use as a study space for homework or group projects.

East Tower
With the same building amenities as the three traditional towers, East Tower residents also enjoy a full kitchen and self-controlled AC in every suite. East also provides a more open space as it was built 30+ years after North, South and West.
