Housing Contracts
August 7, 2026: All students with completed contracts have been assigned. Please check your email and view your assignment via My Housing Information! Spring 2027 Contracts will start to be released in early November.

May 1, 2026: University Housing is no longer accepting Residence Hall Contracts for the 2026-27 academic year. Students without a submitted contract or exemption have been automatically exempted from the UWM Residency Requirement and may explore other housing options through the Off-Campus Resource Center.

University Housing remains full for Fall 2026, and we have not yet begun offering contracts to students on the residence hall waitlist. If you are still interested in living on campus, please join the waitlist through the Housing Portal. Contracts will be offered if spaces become available.

Kaleidoscope (LGBTQIA+)

This community exists to help students build connections with peers and feel a sense of belonging on UWMs campus at in the city of Milwaukee. Students will have the opportunity to explore Queer history of Milwaukee and Wisconsin. Residents will create an environment of awareness, respect, and advocacy for all gender identities and sexual orientations.

This LLC Is for You If…

  • You identify as LGBTQIA+ or as an ally.
  • You want to connect and engage with LGBTQIA+ students, staff, and faculty in the residence halls.
  • You hope to share and encourage leadership opportunities for peers.
  • You’re passionate about creating a safe and inclusive space for students on campus at UW-Milwaukee.
  • You want to learn more about LGBTQIA+ history in Milwaukee and in the state of Wisconsin.

Enrollment Requirements

This LLC is open to all students, regardless of major.
