Housing Contracts
August 7, 2026: All students with completed contracts have been assigned. Please check your email and view your assignment via My Housing Information! Spring 2027 Contracts will start to be released in early November.

May 1, 2026: University Housing is no longer accepting Residence Hall Contracts for the 2026-27 academic year. Students without a submitted contract or exemption have been automatically exempted from the UWM Residency Requirement and may explore other housing options through the Off-Campus Resource Center.

University Housing remains full for Fall 2026, and we have not yet begun offering contracts to students on the residence hall waitlist. If you are still interested in living on campus, please join the waitlist through the Housing Portal. Contracts will be offered if spaces become available.

Intern Housing Request Form

The Summer 2026 Intern Housing Portal is now open for registration to reserve your summer lodging. For self-paying interns visit our Residential Guest Services Portal. In the portal you will: register your account, upload your internship offer letter, select lodging preferences, and submit your lodging Contract and initial fees to secure your summer housing. Priority deadline to secure your summer lodging is April 1, 2026.

If you are an Employer looking to cover the lodging expenses for your interns, please email us at stay@uwm.edu. We are happy to Contract with you. In doing so, we provide you further instructions and a company codes for your interns to use when registering.
