Wisconsin has a critical need for additional health sciences professionals. UWM is poised to help meet the workforce need, but can’t do so with additional funding. As a lifelong Wisconsin resident and graduate of UWM, I’ve witnessed firsthand the overcrowded and outdated classrooms and labs. UWM cannot enroll more students without expanding and updating the current facilities.
I urge you to support the UWM Health Sciences Renovation Project to ensure that Wisconsin residents have ready access to necessary medical care in the future. Educating additional health care workers has never been more important than now.
